Kenya Catchball has just concluded Mombasa Tournament that was held at Agha-Khan Grounds near Serena Beach.
The game brought together over 7 teams with around 200 players from all over the country to compete for a Trophy.
Nairobi team travelled to Mombasa on August 8,2025 to participate in that Tournament hosted by Mombasa Catchball Association. The winners were Catchball Umoja Girls, champion Senior women category.
On Most Senior Categories the winners were Catchball Eaglets whom despite their age of above 40 years played very well. In congratulatory message, The president Catchball Federation Mr. Shadrack Okello said that team deserved victory. “As most senior team, you have made us proud,” Added Okello.
“To the rest of our dedicated teams just to mention Kayole Superstars, Eastlando most senior team Great job on your victory! Your dedication, teamwork, and hard work truly paid off today for making Catchball Mombasa tournament a memorable Catchball event,” he added.
Maxwell, a team Coordinator said he was very impressed by the number of players that made it to Mombasa despite Economic hardship.
He thanked all participants and urged the stakeholders and Sports officials to join and support the team to grow.
He said he is very proud of all participants.
