FORMER NGO BOSS Elius Kemboi Korir in Sh 17M FRAUD ORDERED TO APPEAR IN COURT IN PERSON.

A Nairobi court has ordered a former NGO boss Elius Kemboi Korir charged WITH Sh 17 Million fraud to attend court physically for the hearing of that case.

When the matter came before magistrate Benmark Ekhubi, court was informed that the accused was not present thus he ordered he appear on September 14, 2025 for the hearing of the matter.

In that case, Elius Kemboi Korir has been charged that on diverse dates between August 2022 and September 12, 2022 in Nairobi area Nairobi County, jointly with intent to defraud, obtained from Kandunyi investments Limited assorted shop goods valued at Sh 17,110,000 by falsely pretending that he was in a position to make payments to the said Kanduyi Investments knowing it was untrue.

He faced an alternative count of stealing against the law.

Kemboi was charged that on diverse dates between August 11 and September 12, 2022, jointly with others not before court, stole assorted shop goods valued at Sh 17,110,000 the property of Kandunyi investments limited.

The matter will proceed on September 17, 2025.
