Governor Ngilu and the 2 county officers have honoured Court summons and physically appeared before Justice Monica Mbaru .
Governor Ngilu undertook to comply with court orders and pay Kitui County Doctors their salary arrears within  30 days from today .Â
The Governor confirmed that the dismissed Doctors are free to work with the court after appropriate mediation .Â
Lawyer Henry Kurauka for KMPDU confirmed that they filed an application for contempt of court that sought committal to jail of the Governor and 2 officers.Â
But they are ready and willing to withdraw the matters if the orders are compiled by the County and upon mediation by all the parties .
Kitui doctors have not been paid for 5 months since July 2021. The case will be mentioned on December 10, 2021 to confirm compliance.Â
