Two accused of stealing Gaming Items from Former DCI Boss George Kinoti’s Son Antony Mwenda charged in court.

They are accused of breaking into a building and stealing them.

Two accused of stealing from Former DCI Boss George Kinoti’s Son Antony Mwenda charged in court.

The two Luis Borura Nyawira and Stephen Wafula Okoni have been charged with breaking into a building and committing a felony against the law.

They denied the charges before magistrate Robinson Ondieki.

Luis Borura Nyawira and Stephen Wafula  Okoni  have been charged that on April 1,2024,along Biashara street ,within Nairobi CBD in Nairobi County, jointly with others not before the court ,broke and entered into a building  namely Hilson Plaza, floor shop no 1,Quebec gaming and stole nine play-station,two PlayStation, twenty PlayStation pads and thirty five gaming disks .All valued and totaling to Sh 1,260,000 the property of Anthony Mwendwa Kinoti.

Lawyer Danstan Omari acting for the victims requested the court to have them remove facial masks so that they can be identified.

He said he is in support of the prosecution application to oppose bail.

The accused on the other hand requested to be released on bond saying that they will comply with the court process.

The dpp said he has an affidavit to oppose bond or cash bail saying there other accomplishes.

Ruling on bond will be tomorrow.
