Investigation officer Gachii Gakure has informed the court that the suspect in a case where a man is charged with false Identity is not a Kenyan and he fraudulently obtained a Kenyan passport and Identity Card.

Appearing before a Milimani Court to give his testimony,he presented to court copies of documents obtained from the registrar of persons from Isiolo.

“The investigation officers could not trace a Chief Letter in support of registration of Abdihakim Said Jama as a Kenyan Citizen,”added Gakure.

The officer further explained that the accused’s purported father was a fictitious person and did not exist at all.

He continued that even the alleged mother Fatuma who the suspect alleges that she is deceased is a creation too because she is alive and even witnessed in the case.

In re-examination,the witness told court that the process of getting the ID card and the passport was fraudulent because the people who purportedly approved the suspect’s birth certificate recanted having met the accused.

“The accused person is not related to his purported mother Fatuma ,this comes after Fatuma denied being the mother of the suspect, the local administration denied having met or ever seeing the accused person in the location he is purporting to have come from,”added Gakure,

In the case,Jama is charged that between March and June 2011,in Isiolo,he gave false information to a person employed in the public service by presenting false documents to the chief in order to procure a Kenyan ID..
He claimed to be the Son of Fatima.
