A City Businessman accused of assaulting a physically challenged person against the law has been charged at Nairobi Milimani Law Courts.
Benson Khaemba appeared before Senior Principle Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and denied the charges.
The court was informed that Khaemba committed the offense on July 22,2020 at Contrast house along Moi Avenue in Nairobi, Unlawfully and intentionally assaulted Noel Nyongesa occasioning him body harm.
He requested for a favorable bond terms and was released on a bond of Sh 50,000 or a cash bail of Sh 10,000.
The State Prosecution has line up four witnesses to testify against the accused. It is said that Khameba is a contractor who won a tender to build Bungoma County Kenya Stadium.
He is said to have assaulted Noel after demanding his money from him amounting to Sh 4M.
