A youth accused of robbing a police officer have been charged at Kibera Law Courts.
Dominic Mwanzia Mwaleli alias Bondia at Kibera was charged with robbery with violence after he was arrested on 22nd August 2020 outside Turkeys supermarket along Tom Mboya street in the NCBD.
He is said to have had robbed a police officer Stephen Kivinda of his OPPO mobile phone valued at Ksh 30,000 while armed with a knife, and threatened to use actual violence during the robbery.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
