Violence at posh Kihingo Village as former Tetu MP assaults a security guard with his gun.

A security guard at posh Kihingo Gardens is nursing serious injuries after he was allegedly hit with a gun by former Tetu Member of Parliament Ndungu Gethenji.

Godfrey Mutua who was innocently performing his duties on February 5,2021 after curfew hours,is now in pain and is seeking justice.

The actions of the former MP has created a lot of tension at the estate and the residents says that they fear for their lives.

Ndungu is said to have had hit the man causing the blood to gush from his face.

At 11.28pm on February 5, Gethenji is seen on CCTV footages arriving at the gate of Kihingo Village where he lives and where he has been in a protracted dispute with the other residents.

Gethenji was annoyed that Securex was recently appointed to provide security to Kihingo Village and that his preferred security company  911 was blocked from entering  the estate.

The assault was reported to Gigiri police station but no action has yet been taken by the police on the matter.

Gethenji is involved in multiple criminal and civil suits over his long-running but unsuccessful battle to retain control of Kihingo Village which was developed in partnership with his two estranged brothers and his late mother.
