A man has been charged at Milimani Law Courts with Sh 5 million fraud against the law.
Jefferson Mugambi Marete appeared before Milimani Law courts Senior Resident Magistrate Jane Kamau and denied the charges.
The court was informed that on diverse dates between October 30,2018 and February 12,2019 at Nairobi Central Business District(NCBD) with intent to defraud obtained Sh 5,000,000 from Richard Gitonga.
The accused is said to have pretended that he was in a position to import a Toyota land Cruiser V8 on behalf of Gitonga.
Through his lawyer, he requested for favorable bond terms.
He was released on Sh 1million bond plus surety of similar amount or a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
