County director charged with stealing Sh 57 M

A county director has been charged at Milimani law courts with stealing Sh 57 million from Biologic Solutions Limited.

Appearing before magistrate Kenneth Cheruiyot, Emmoty Opany Owuor was accused that on diverse dates between January 2012 and September 2018 in Nairobi County, being a director of Biologic Solutions Limited, stole Sh 57,155,079.

At the same time, three men were charged with causing grievous harm against the law.

Bernard Njoroge, Michael Irungu and Peter Mwangi appeared before magistrate Kenneth Cheruiyot and denied the charges.

They were accused that on May 13, 2021 at Accra road public toilet along Accra road in Nairobi within Nairobi County, jointly with others not before court unlawfully did grievous harm to Samson Agwa.

They pleaded not guilty and were released on Sh 50,000 cash bail.
