Kamotho’s Son Forgery case to be heard next year.

A case in which Son of Former Ex-Minister Kamothois charged with Forging Medical Report in Succession Row will be heard on March 1, 2023.When the parties appeared before Milimani Magistrate Ben Mark for the mention, he said the matter will continue for hearing then.In the case Charles Githii, the son of former KANU cabinet minister Joseph Kamotho, has been charged in a multimillion-dollar succession dispute with forging a medical report in the name of his sister Maryanne Nyokabi.Reports indicate that Githii went to an unknown location within Nairobi in October 2015 and obtained a forged report signed by a doctor named Mucheru Wang’ombe.Githii was then charged with a second count in November 2020, with intent to defraud for knowingly uttering the forged medical report he obtained from Dr. Wang’ombe.He was later arrested on November 2, 2022, and appeared in Milimani court, where he pleaded not guilty. He has been released on a Ksh.50, 000 cash bail.Mr Kamotho died on December 6, 2014 leaving behind his widow Eunice Wambui Kamotho and four children; Githii, Ms Nyokabi, James Mwai and David Waweru.Reports indicate that Mrs Kamotho sought letters to administer the estate, but her children filed objections against her.
