Former Interior CS has moved to court seeking to stop his prosecution .
He is seeking orders restraining the government from arresting him without conducting proper investigations and and he wants to be accorded an opportunity to be heard.
Through his lawyer Danstan Omari,he wants to be given an opportunity to be heard by issuing him with summons for him to appear at any offices to record statements I’d need be.
“Pending the hearing and determination of this application,court be pleased to issue conservatory order restraining the the government from interfering with Matiangi’s applicants participation in burial arrangements of the late George Albert Omore Magoha”he added Omari. The former CS is also seeking temporary orders restraining the government from effecting arrest,charging,harassing or otherwise interfering with matiangi.
He is awaiting response from the court.
