Businessman accused of forging land documents in Kilimani charged.

Jonathan Mbithi Nzonga has been charged that on August 16/1992 at unknown place within the Republic of Kenya,with intent to defraud ,without lawful authority forged a certain document namely,letter of allotment made by Nairobi City Commission in favour of Jonathan Mbithi.

He was charged in the second court with forcible detainer contrary to section 91 of the Penal code.

He was charged that on August 16/1992 at Jamhuri phase 11 in Kilimani sub county within Nairobi County, being in possession of the right held possession of the said land in manner likely to cause a breach of peace or reasonable apprehension of the breach of peace against Caroline wanjiru who was entitled by law to the possession of the said land.

The court heard that the accused person had been charged with a similar offence which had earlier been withdrawn under section 87A.The section usually allows for the person who had earlier been charged to be re-arrested and charged once the prosecution finds new evidence against him.In Court, prosecutor Violet Kerubo Ombati said the accused person was a flight risk and urged the court to deny granting him bond terms.

He had was released on Sh 150,000 cash bail.
