Businessman Nashon Otieno Angudha in Sh 37Million Gold fraud has been re-arrested in connection with another fraud.
He was arrested at Milimani Law courts after he appeared for the mention of the above case.
The accused is expected to be charged tomorrow with new counts of fraud.
In the case that he was coming for, He was charged on April 11,2024 with two of gold fraud.
Angudha is alleged to have conspired to steal over Ksh.37 million from Surindah Singh by falsely pretending that the money was meant to hire a private jet and payment of insurance and taxes for 300 kilograms of gold.
It is said that the gold was to be transported from Kenya to Dubai. He had pleaded with the court to be released on favorable bond terms.
The prosecution had opposed an application to have him released on bail. The accused was also charged in the year 2023 at a Kibera court with allegedly using force to rob an Italian Ksh.13.5 million shillings, forgery and indecently touching a woman.
He is out on Sh 300,000 bail.
