A lawyer has been charged at Milimani Law courts with stealing Sh 962,027 from Heritage Insurance Company.
Victor Kirima Nyamboga was accussed that on diverse dates between June 30,2019 and December 23,2020 at Makaka and Kiramana Advocates office Bruce House in Nairobi within Nairobi County,jointly with others not before the court conspired to commit a felony namely stealing and did steal Sh 962,027 from the company.
He faced a second count of stealing Sh 962,027 against the law.
Kiriama was also charged in a third count with stealing Sh 60,000 against the law.
He was accused that on June 30,2019 at Shem Kebongo and Company advocates along Mpaka road in westlands,jointly with another not before court stole a civil suit file No.6569 of 2014 worth Sh 60,000 the property of Shem Kebongo and Company Advocates.
The lawyer was also charged with making a false document against the law
The court was informed that on June 30,2019 at Makaka and Kiramana Advocates offices Bruce House in Nairobi ,jointly with others not before court and with intent to defraud ,made an Instruction to lodge a claim for personal injury purporting it to be a genuine document signed by Nicholus Wambua and Petronila Syombua.
Ruling on his release on bail will be delivered tomorrow.
