
An advocate of the high court has been charged at Milimani Law Courts with stealing Sh 5.8 Million against the law.
Evans Asuga appeared before senior resident magistrate Zainab Abdul and denied one count of stealing.
The court was informed that on dates between October 172019 and February 5, 2020, being an agent of Mishak Mokua which he had received from the Ongicho Ongicho & CO equity bank account being an award from court of Appeal Ruling in Civil Appeal against National Water Conservation and pipeline Corporation.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh 200,000 or a bond of Sh 1 million.
The matter will be mentioned on November 26, 2020.
