Former Laikipia East Member of Parliament has been charged at Milimani Law Courts with stealing a title deed of a land valued at Sh 18.5 Million.
Anthony Mutahi Kimaru appeared before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and denied the charges.
He was accused that on August 5,2016 at the Ministry of lands headquarters in Nairobi, he stole a title deed for LR NO 10422/13 NANYUKI TOWNSHIP valued at Sh 18.5 Million the property of George Odinga Oraro and David Morton SILVESTEIN, the executers of the Estate of the late Livia Lepoer Trench.
He faced Three other counts of making false document, uttering a false document and obtaining
He denied the charges before Milimani chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and was released on a cash bail of Sh300, 000 or a bond of a Sh1 million.
The case will be mentioned on January 28.
