Man accused of defrauding people over Sh 7M Forex exchange trading fraud.

The accused Samuel Wacereka Nganga was charged with over Sh 7Million forex trading fraud.

Wagereka was charged that on diverse dates between January 1, 2019 and January 24, 2019 at Nai5robi town within Nairobi County, with intent to defraud obtained from Chepngetich Kiget the sum of Sh 800,000 by falsely pretending to be a position to facilitate forex trading a fact he knew to be false.

He was also charged with obtaining another Sh 1,100,000 another Sh 1,000,000 from Fred Odhiambo Awuor and finally Sh 500,000 from Kenneth Nteere and Charity Mulunde by falsely pretending to be in a position to facilitate forex treading a fact he knew to be false.

The accused faced 14 counts where he is accused of defrauding different people some 500,000,300,000 and others 200,000.

Through his lawyer Gitari, the court was informed that the accused is a family man.

The accused is a resident of Bahati Nakuru County and not a flight risk.

Willing to cooperative with court on the terms which be imposed,they also requested for documents that they will rely on.

They requested for a favorable bond terms.

He was released on Sh 3M bond or a cash bail Sh 1Million.
