Bethwel Kipkorir Chebet appeared before Milimani law courts and denied the charges.
Bethwel Kipkorir Chebet was charged that on diverse dates between May 1, 2022 and September 2, 2023 at Athi River within Machakos County, jointly with others not before court conspired to steal from Abyssinia Iron and Steel Limited a total of Sh 86,159,377.77.
He was charged in another count with stealing by servant against the law.
Kipkorir was charged that on diverse between the May 1, 2022 and September 2, 2023 at Athi River within Machakos county ,being servant of Abyssinia Iron and Steel limited jointly with others not before court, stole Sh 86,159,77 the property of Abyssia Iron and Steel which came to your possession by virtue of employment.
The matter will be mentioned tomorrow before city court for bail terms.
