Seth Orinda appeared before Senior PrincipalĀ MagistrateĀ RobisonĀ Ondieki and denied the charges.

He is charged that on diverse dates betweenĀ  August 7,2023 Ā Ā and November 28,2023 at unknown place within the country,jointly with others not before the court conspired to obtain 8500 20 liters Jeri cans of Pika cooking oil and 23000 bags of 90 kgs white maize all valued at Sh 291,160,000 from front-line tarkipa media limited.

He faced another count where he was charged that on similar dates and place at MOL logistics he obtained 8500 20 liters Jeri cans of Pika cooking oil and 23000 bags of 90 kgs white maize all valued at Sh 291,160,000 from front-line Tarkipa media limited by falsely pretending that he was a director Development Aid Africa who were to pay for the items knowing it was untrue.

In the third count, Orinda was charged with making a document without authority against the law.

He was charged that on August 8, 2023 along General Mathenge Road in Westlandā€™s within Nairobi County jointly with others not before the court and with intent to defraud, made a contract agreement originating from a registered NGO called Development Aid Africa.

He faced the last count of making a document without authority against the law.

He was charged that on August 7, 2023 along General Mathenge road in west-lands within Nairobi County jointly with others not before the court, with intent to defraud, he made two purchase orders with the logo of Development Aid Africa purporting it to be true purchase orders originating from a registered NGO CALLED Development Aid Africa.

Prosecution opposed his release on Bond.

Ruling on whether he will be released on bond will be made on Monday.
