The championship brought together teams from Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and South Africa to promote sport, unity, and women’s leadership.

“We are grateful to host you here. We intend to spread this sport throughout South Africa. Feel safe and enjoy your stay,” Shilubane said.

The tournament attracted local residents and school children to Pimville Stadium in Soweto, Gauteng.

The event also gave players an opportunity to interact, exchange cultures, and build friendships.
