5 police officers said to have aided escape of 13 suspects have been freed on personal bond of sh 200,000

Milimani magistrate Martha Nanzushi has dismissed an application by the state to detain five Police officers from Gigiri police station for aiding escape.

While releasing the accused on persons after executing personal bond of ksh 200,000,Nanzushi noted that the suspects are goverment employees who have expressed interest interest to cooperate with the investigation agencies.
The magistrate has also ordered that the five suspects to be reporting to the investigation agency twice for a week for the period request.
The five suspect s, Pc Ronald Babo,Evans kipkurui,Mollent Ochieng, Zachary Nyabuto and Gerald Mutuku are being investigated for the offence of aiding 13 Rumandees to escaping from Gigiri police station including Kware murder Prime suspect Collins Jumaisi….
The prosecution wanted the court to detain them for 2 weeks.
