Employee Charged with Stealing KSh 98.3 Million from Employer

An employee of Lomas and Lomas Limited Company, a sister company to Cable Connect Limited Company, has been charged at the Milimani Law Courts with stealing KSh 98.3 million from her employer.

Naomi Mueni Mutua appeared before the Milimani court today, where she denied a charges

Between January 1, 2022, and March 1, 2024, while employed by Lomas and Lomas Limited in Nairobi, Mueni allegedly stole electric accessories worth KSh 98,380,138 belonging to the company — money that had come into her possession by virtue of her employment.

Mueni pleaded not guilty and was released on a cash bail of KSh 5 million pending the hearing of the case.

The case will be mentioned on 28th October 2025 for pre-trial directions.
