Woman charged with stealing electric cables worth Sh 69 Million

A woman has been charged at Milimani Law Courts with conspiracy to defraud contrary to the law.

Khathijabai Suleiman Ahmed appeared before magistrate Martha Mutuku and denied the charges, she was accused that on diverse dates between January 1, 2018 and November 1, 2020, at Doshi Group of Companies in Nairobi, jointly with others before court, conspired to steal assorted electric cables valued at Sh 69Million.

She was charged in another count with stealing against the law.

The court was informed that on January 1 and November 1, 2020 at the Doshi Group of companies in Nairobi, jointly with others before court, stole assorted electric cables valued at 69M the property of Doshi Group of companies.

She was released on Sh 2M cash bail or a bond of Sh 5M. The matter will be mentioned tomorrow for consolidation.
