A man accused of stealing diamond jewellery worth Sh 5M charged and released on bail.

A man accused of robbing golden and diamond jewellery at West-lands Nairobi has been charged at Milimani Law Courts.

Newton Ngunjiri appeared before magistrate David Ndungi and denied one count of robbery with violence.

He was charged that on April 16,2021 at Thigiri crescent off thigiri road area within westlands county,while armed with craw bar and scissors robbed Said Kirit,a box containing assorted golden and diamond jewellery,Credit cards ,One I-Phone ,One TecnoLc6,Two Samsung phones,one Nokia phone,two Apple I-pads,and cash Sh 5,000 all valued Sh 5million.

He was released on Sh 1 million bond plus one surety or a cash bail of Sh 500,000.

The matter will be mentioned on May 6,2021.
