A man accused of forging a burial permit has been charged at Milimani Law Courts with five counts of forgery against the law.
Solomon Kithuka Chalo appeared before magistrate Francis Andayi and denied the charges read against him.
He was accused that on October 5, 2020 jointly with other not before the court, he forged a burial serial number DA 4869752 dated 5/10/2020 in the name of Mutisya Musyoka purporting it to be a genuine burial permit issued by the Chief Kathiani Location in Machakos County.
The accused faced another count of uttering a false document contrary to section 353 of the penal code.
He was accused that on October 8, 2020 at Jubilee house, along Wabera Street in Nairobi county knowing and fraudulently uttered in Nairobi County, Knowing and fraudulently uttered to Ronald Atogo Mochoge a certain forged document which is document namely permit for one burial serial number DA 4869752, purporting it to be a genuine burial permit for one Mutisya Musyoka issued by the Chief Kathiani location in Machakos County.
The accused was also charged with forging a Jubilee Insurance Certificate on October 8, 2020. He was accused of forging a certain document namely a Jubilee Insurance Certificate of the attending physician under the names Mutisya Musyoka purporting it to be a genuine certificate of attending physician signed by Dr. R Kariuki of Kathiani mission Hospital in Machakos County.
He faced a final count of uttering the forged document to Physician Mutisya Musyoka, purporting it to be genuine certificate of the attending physician signed by Dr R Kariuki of Kathiani Mission Hospital in Machakos County.
The accused was released on Sh 300,000 bond or a cash bail of Sh 200,000.
