A young man accused of defiling a 16 years old girl has been detained for four days at Capital Hill Police Station pending the conclusion of investigation.
Joshua Maina had collapsed at the court room just before he was arraigned before magistrate Bernard Ochoi.
In application filed by Investigation Officer Jackline Amakumba, Maina was arrested on May 29,2021 at Kibera Laini Saba area within Nairobi county,
“The complaint made a complaint at Kenyatta police post after the incident, we are seeking to have the suspect detained for five days to enable us complete the investigations,” she added
It is said that the complainant was defiled on diverse dates between April 14,2021 and April 20,2021 within Kibera Laini Saba area.
