MAN SENTENCED FOR SIX MONTHS FOR SELLING MILK WITHOUT PERMIT.

A man has been fined Sh 20,000 or in default six months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to selling milk without permit against the law.

Mohamud Mohamed apopeared before magistrate Martha Mutuku and pleaded guilty to two counts of selling milk without permit.

He was charged that on June 22,2021 in Starehe Sub-County,he was found handling dairy products which are 2475 kilograms of Hilwa Milk,475 kgs of fresh powder and 30 cartoons (3 pieces) without a valid permit.

In the second count,Mohamed was charged that on June 22,2021 in Starehe sub-county,was found handling for sale dairy products which are are 2475 kilograms of Hilwa Milk,475 kgs of fresh powder and 30 cartoons (3 pieces) without a valid permit.

He was fined Sh 20,000 or in default six months imprisonment.
