A man accused of damaging 3 crates of soda bottles and overturned food inside food warmer worth approximately Ksh 60,000, has been charged at Milimani Law courts.
Timothy Kithinji Mukare was accused of committing the offense inside NOGAK restaurant in Upper Hill, Nairobi on October 4,2021.
He is said to have damaged the property belonging to Noraa Gakii who happens to be the wife of the accused.
The accused and complaint were fighting over matrimonial custody and children.
Mukare is also charged with creating disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of peace contrary to section 95(1)(b) of the penal code.
Police reports say that on October 4,2021, at 1430hrs, Mukare shouted at and chased away customers from NOGAK restaurant being the business premise of Noraa Gakii.
He has pleaded not guilty to both charges and was released on a cash bail of Ksh 30,000 which he has paid and 1 contact person.
The mention date will be on February 7.
