A case in which a man has been charged in Sh 4.2M fake gold racket will now be heard on November 29,2022.When the parties appeared before principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe, for fixing of hearing date,they were informed that it will be heard on November 29,2022.In the case Shikanda Ismail Saleh Abdallah alias Salim has been charged for receiving fraudulently Sh4,260,000 from Amit Srivastava of Ibrahim Ahmed General Trading claiming he was in a position to sell to him 10 kilogrammes of gold.The alleged offence took place on diverse dates in March in Westlands, Nairobi.He was accused of working with others not before the court.Shikanda is out on Sh1 million cash bail or alternatively pay Sh2 million bond with surety to secure his release pending trial.
