Court orders status quo be maintained on hiring NSSF Managing Trustee.

Employment and Labour Relations Court Judge Ocharo Kebira has ordered that status quo be maintained in respect of recruitment of NSSF Managing TrusteeThrough Lawyer Henry Kurauka, the Petitioner, David Njoe says that the recruitment is opaque and does not adhere to the law and constitution.The said effect of the orders is that the purported recruitment of David Koros cannot be formally done by the Labour CS and gazzetted.

The court ordered status quo be maintained pending hearing meaning New appointee Koros cannot occupy office or be gazzetted.

Sources indicate that the board was split over alleged external interference. Candidates say they turned up for the interviews but the exercise could not proceed after two members of the board failed to show up.

The case will come for directions before Justice Nduma Nderi on June 5.
