Warrant of arrest issued against Juja MP George Koimburi.

Court issues warrant of arrest against Muja MP George Koimburi and two others for failing to appear in court for plea taking after he allegedly faked his abduction.
He was to appear today before Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi but failed forcing the prosecution to make application for warrant of arrest.
Koimburi and six others were charged with conspiracy to defeat justice contrary to section 117(c) of the penal code.
He is charged alongside six other individuals: Peter Kiratu Muhia, David Macharia Gatana, Cyrus Kieru Muhia, Grace Nduta Wairimu, and two others identified as Peter and Njuguna alias Njugush.
They are said that on May 25, 2025 at Mugutha area Juja sub county Kiambu County with common intention jointly conspired to defeat justice by stage managing the abduction of George Koimburi Ndungu in order to prevent his arrest.
He was to be arrested and be arraigned at Kiambu Law Courts to answer to charges as directed by the office of Directorate of Public Prosecution through their letter reference ODPP/HQ/CAM/13/475 dated May 20/2025 where the George Koimburi Ndungu was to be charged with four counts in relation to land fraud.
In the second count, they were charged with giving false information to a person employed in the public service contrary to Section 129(a) of the penal code.
Peter Kiratu Muhia is charged that on May 25, 2025 at Mugutha Police Station in Juja Sub county, reported to Officer Nelly Kabuu that Koimburi had been abducted by unknown people wearing masks after attending a church service at Full Gospel Church at Mugutha making the said police officer to book the report through occurrence book number 21 of 2025 which information was untrue.
Koimburi is also expected to be charged with publication of false information against the law.
He is said that on June 7, 2025 at Karen Hospital via YouTube account gave a press release to the effect that he had been abducted and tortured by some criminals, information which he knew was false and was aimed at causing panic to the members of the public.
They were released on Sh 300,000 cash bail.
