Pastor James Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism Center is indisputably a rich man and he loves showing off and talking about his material wealth.
He claims to wear a wrist watch whose price would buy a good new car or a prime plot in the outskirts of Nairobi.
It is a Rolex which he says was given him by a friend.
In a radio interview the controversial pastor claimed that the price of the watch is equivalent of Sh1 million.
The man who was once a prisoner also claimed he has another watch worth Sh400, 000 and two chains worth Sh650, 000 and Sh500, 000.
“My Church followers love me and want me to dress this way, drive big cars because they came to my church without anything and some now have homes, cars and businesses. So for such to give me Sh500, 000 to live well is not a big deal to them” he bragged in a local radio interview.
He said he is a businessman with interests in another of areas, thus he does not rely on Church offerings.
