A man has been charged at Milimani law courts with obtaining Sh 336,000 from a woman pretending that he would process title deeds for her.
John Odhiambo Ooro alias Bob Odhiambo appeared before magistrate Martha Mutuku and denied the charges.
The court was informed that on October 1,2019 and January 23,2021 in Nairobi within Nairobi County, with intent to defraud obtained a sum of Sh 336,000 from Jane Alice Atieno Okello, in pretences that he was facilitate the processing of Title Deeds for her parcels of land located at Kisumu/kochogo, a fact knew to be false.
The prosecution did not oppose bail, he is of old age. He prayed for reasonable bond terms.
He was released on Sh 100,000 bond or a cash bail of Sh 50,000 and two contacts.
