Naivas Supermarket theft case to be heard next year.

A case in which a man has been charged with forging Naivas supermarket vouchers has pushed to next year.

When the matter came for hearing before Milimani Law Courts Senior Resident Magistrate Jane Kamau, the court was informed that the complainant in the case was not ready to proceed with the hearing.

Ten Chege Muchai who is the accused had been charged with making a document without authority contrary to the law.

He was charged that on December 27, 2020, with intent to defraud, jointly with others not before the court, made a certain document namely NAIVAS GIFT VOUCHER serial number 1326586 and bar code Sh 50,000 dated 2/6/2020 purporting it to be a valid NAIVAS GIFT VOUCHER issued by NAIVAS SUPERMARKET LIMITED WESLANDS BRANCH.

The accused is out on a cash bail of 30,000 or a bond of Sh 50,000.
