Sh 112M fraud case against Directors of TVR company pushed to next year.

Sh 112 million faud case against two directors of TVR has been pushed to January 13, 2025.
This is after Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) informed Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi that they were not ready to supply evidentially materials to the defense hence sought an adjournment.
The Former High Court judge Joseph Mutava,who is representing the company objected to the application by the ODPP saying that they want to make an application for the review of the bond terms for the accused persons.
The Court allowed the adjournment to January 13 to give the Advocate representing TRV Towers Company time to make his application which has since been served to the ODPP and the defense for review of bond terms for accused directors.
In the case, Tribhovan Anlalji Chavada and his son Jayesh Rribovan Chavda both directors of TRV Towers limited were charged with stealing Ksh 112 million from the company.
According to the charge sheet, Tribhovan Anlalji Chavada andd his son are charged that on diverse dates between October 18, 2019 and July 31, 2023,he allegedly stole Sh 112 M, being the managing director TRV Towers.
Tribhovan Anlalji Chavada was charged alongside his son Jayesh Rribovan Chavda for allegedly conspiring to defraud TRV Towers limited Ksh 112M.
They both faced another charge of unlawfully making Bank of Baroda account opening documents purporting them to be genuine.
 The first and second accused persons are out on Ksh 200,000 and Ksh 150,000 respectively.
