Tirus Ndambuki Musyoka, Kyalo Munya Nthiwa and Francis Bundi Wilson appeared before Milimani Anti-Corruption court magistrate Felix Kombo and denied the charges.

They were charged that on March 5, 2019 at Joska Post within Machakos County, being persons employed by a public body which is Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government as Lukenya Location Chief and Inspector of Police Joska Police post, jointly requested for a bribe of Sh 50,000 from Peter Muhia Njenga with intent that, in consequence, they would release his 8 head of cattle detained at KBC Police Station.
Chief Ndambuki of Lukenya Location was also charged with receiving a bribe of Sh 40,000 on March 8, 2019 from Muhia pretending that he would release his 8 head of cattle held at KBC Police Station.
In the last count, Chief Ndambuki was charged with abuse of office against the law.
Court has warned the accused not to interfere with the witnesses and not to leave jurisdiction of this court without authority of the court.
He was accused of using his office to improperly confer a bribe of Sh 40,000 upon himself, which consisted of money obtained and received from peter Muhia Njenga so as to release his 8 head of cattle held at KBC Station. They were released on Sh 75,000 cash or a bond of Sh 500,000.Pre-trial conference will be on August 18,2020.
