Three men have been charged at Milimani Law Courts with defrauding people pretending that he will recruit them to KDF.
Elias Mwangi Kuria, Amos Cheruiyot and Ogla Hepchirchir were charged that on December 25, 2023 in Nairobi City jointly with others not before court conspired to defraud Stephen Maina Kariuki Sh 400000 by falsely pretending that he was in a position to secure employment for his son in Kenya Defence Forces.
Mwangi was also charged in another court with obtaining Sh 400,000 from Stephen Maina by pretending that he was in a position to secure employment in Kenya defense force for his son knowing it was untrue.
He is said to have obtained the money on diverse dates between September 23, 2023 and September 26, 2023.
They were released on bail.
