A nairobi court has extended the interim orders freezing bank accounts in whick Ksh400M which is subject matter of a criminal case pitting a Kenyan and a Rwandese Businessman.

The interim orders will remain in place 20th November 2023, when the matter will be placed before a trial judge.

A Kenyan businessman Koome Kirimi has since been charged before a chief magistrate court over the amount. The trial Magistrate BenMark Ekhubi has since directed the hearing of the criminal case to commence on 24th November 2023.

He said the application by Danstan omari seeking to have one of the witness give evidence virtually is allowed. Mr. Omari is watching brief for the complainant Desire Muhinyuza who is a Rwandese National.

The prosecution has since informed the court that all exhibits and documentary evidence to be relied upon has since been applied ro the defence lawyers and the cousel watching brief for the complainant.
