Chief Justice Martha Koome on Tuesday presided the swearing in new member of judicial commissioner Samson Omwanza Ombati.
Omwanza is the new LSk male representative to the commison replacing Macharia Njeru.
He will hold the position for five years.
The CJ wished Omwanza all the best in his work and asked him to uphold rule of justice.
“Let the oath continue to guide you in your daily work. It should never deparr from you. Be able to defend the rule of law. I wish all the best in your work and God bless you”, Koome said.

Omwanza expressed his gratitude to all who supported him by recognizing the presence of Solicitor general Shadrack Mose, lawyers and his family.
Also present was MP for South Mugirango Silvanus Osoro, commissioner Isaac Ruto.
Omwanza also thanked members of LSK saying they are very passionate about their welfare that’s why they are here in numbers.
“I can assure you that these members are here with good will, he added.
“I promise to make sure that I serve Kenyans, JSC and LSK with diligence”,Omwanza said.
It follows his victory in the LSK election conducted on February 29. He is set to serve for a five-year term effective May 13.
During the LSK polls, Omwanza defeated former society’s president Eric Theuri garnering 3,357 votes against 3,292 votes
