“Kenyans are watching, the whole world is watching and if you mess,History will judge you dearly those who lead such destructions,”Added Onyango.
According to the organisation,Kenya Police Should should ensure peace and order and not to kill innocent protestors.
They say that the are in solidality with all Kenyans both old and young who adheres to the rule of law and the constitution.
“We urge the Inspector General of Police to follow the constition while handling the demontrators, they should allow peaceful demonstration,”added Onyango.
According to Onyango, lives and properties need to be protected at all cost. They say that since 1963 Kenya has faced a history of police brutality, ubdactions and illegal killings which should stop.
In 1963, Kenya experienced the start of the Shifta War (1963-1967), a conflict primarily focused on the secession of the Northern Frontier District (NFD) and its potential union with Somalia.
The Kenyan government, newly independent, faced an insurgency by Somali nationalists and other groups in the NFD who sought to join Somalia. This led to a state of emergency being declared in the region and a military response from Kenya.
