Detectives from the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit which is under the Directorate of Criminal investigations have nabbed a woman who threatened an attack to a High Commission in Nairobi.
The 34-year-old identified as Tracy Wairimu Ndegwa was arrested in Utawala after she sent two threatening letters to the commission on July 31.
One of the letters was sprayed with an industrial chemical and the other with hay fever pesticides.
According to DCI, the letters read; “We will assault you and break your bones, we will rape you in turns and put explosives where you think you are safest…”
In June she was arrested for another terrorism hoax that targeted the Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service, and has been out on cash bail.
She was arraigned at Kibera Law Courts but was released on cash bail.
